GRAND ROUNDS/MORNING REPORT/CONFERENCES
Grand Rounds
Grand Rounds are held on Monday mornings at 8:30 am. These are high-level presentations by speakers from our own faculty as well as individuals who are well recognized locally and nationally.
Morning Report
Morning Report is held on Monday and Friday mornings at 7:00 am. Generally, admissions from the previous night are discussed, identifying problems, appropriate plan for investigation and therapy, and other aspects of the case.
Medical Management Conferences
Medical Management Conference is held on Friday mornings at 8:30 am. Residents discuss interesting cases seen during their various rotations.
Resident Education Conferences
Conferences are held Tuesday through Friday at 12:00 pm. They cover all specialties in internal medicine as well as current topics of interest in medicine, such as adolescent medicine, ethics, geriatrics, managed care, risk management and practice management.
